On-chip very low strain rate rheology of amorphous olivine films

In this paper we apply the technology of traction-on-chip experiments to assess the viscoelastic properties of amorphous olivine thin films.

Relaxation tests performed during two years allow to characterize the strain rate sensitivity down to 10-12 s-1, a value as close as ever to natural strain rates.
