The contribution, “Deformation mechanisms of talc: insights from nanomechanical testing and numerical modelling”, co-authored with G. Materzanini, I. Ul Haq, Q. Shu, M.-S. Colla, G.-M. Rignanese, D. The work combines nanomechanical experiments and numerical modelling to investigate the deformation mechanisms of talc, providing new insight into the micromechanics of this strongly anisotropic mineral and, more broadly, into the deformation of phyllosilicates.
