Happy new year 2022, Happy year of mineralogy

The Year of Mineralogy has been proclaimed by the international Mineralogical Association

It will be launched during the IMA General Assembly, in Lyon, from 18 to 22 July 2022.

Activities will cover 2022 and 2023.

The Year of Mineralogy is held under the auspices of the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development (IYBSSD2022) which will be officially inaugurated with an opening conference 30 June - 1 July 2022 at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

Events and activities will be organized around the world until 30 June 2023.
